ESG Management

As a key partner in economic development focused on customer companies, SeaWorld Express Ferry Co., Ltd. promises to exemplify ESG management for innovative growth and to fulfill our social responsibilities.

  • Blood Donation Campaign
  • 4·3 Memorial Campaign
  • Plogging Campaign
  • "My Green Earth"
  • Volunteer Recognition

Love Blood Donation Campaign

Amid a worsening blood supply shortage due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, SeaWorld Express Ferry will continue its social contribution efforts by organizing a Love Blood Donation Campaign with all our employees. Additionally, we will provide preferential benefits to customers using ferries on the Jeju-Mokpo route through the 'Blood Donor Value Sharing Project' as part of our life-sharing agreement with the Jeju Blood Bank, promoting a positive blood donation culture.

“We will remember and never forget”

The truth and sorrow of the 4·3 Incident should be passed on to all citizens and never forgotten. We promise to do our best to remember by providing benefits to the victims and bereaved families on all routes.

SeaWorld Express Ferry Plogging

Marking the first plogging event among domestic coastal passenger shipping companies to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the Santa Monica’s launch, this event involved around 100 participants (employees, Jindo County officials, and Awol District Development Committee members) cleaning up marine litter at Awol Beach after sailing from Jindo Port on the Santa Monica.
We expect this area, where a 10,000-ton ship with a capacity of 600 passengers and 140 vehicles will be launched in September 2025, to play a significant role in the expansion of tourism and logistics markets. We will continue these regular plogging events to protect the beautiful sea of Jeju.

“My Green Earth” Ocean Music Box Craft

During the summer special transport period, a program was held for elementary students during their vacation to raise awareness about the seriousness of climate change and share ways to protect the Earth. This program, held aboard the Queen Mary, featured an engaging lecture and quiz on upcycling and beachcombing, followed by a hands-on activity where participants created their own music boxes using marine debris. This meaningful time allowed students to experience firsthand how waste can be transformed into something valuable. SeaWorld Express Ferry is actively participating in ESG management, striving to reduce carbon emissions and maintain global temperature increases below 2°C.

Volunteer Recognition Program

As part of our recognition and reward program for volunteers, we are planning a discount event for the volunteers who dedicated themselves to the successful hosting of the 2023 National Sports Festival. Moving forward, we aim to sign an MOU with the Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center to further honor volunteers and promote a culture of volunteer participation.
